Oh wow, yes please! I've been the main maintainer of the PE after Tony left, nudging it into the exciting world of 65536 colours, alpha blending and windows that still refresh in the backgroundQJumpJon wrote:Can't promise I can remember much about it! But it's worth a go...

Still going strong, yes. He even resuscitated his mailbox QL recently for me to look for the Hermes source codes, but alas no luck. They seem to be confined to Lau's vault.QJumpJon wrote:Well, I originally drew it, but then TF took Minerva over so technically I guess it's Tony's shout these days. Is he still about?
Would that be for SuperHermes as well ?mk79 wrote:Still going strong, yes. He even resuscitated his mailbox QL recently for me to look for the Hermes source codes, but alas no luck. Same guy, soooo... maybe? As long as the vault remains closed it could contain the original bible scrolls for all it matters, we still don't get themPr0f wrote:Would that be for SuperHermes as well ?mk79 wrote:Still going strong, yes. Only if you separate the outgoing pins from the Eprom pins like Chr$ did here https://www.ebay.de/itm/203613323341... and that only works if you have enough space, for QL-SD for example it wasn't an option.QJumpJon wrote:Really? Pretty sure we "wouldn't do it just just for fun"... (points for getting the quote there)Derek_Stewart wrote:There is a way to not have the Eprom legs bent out, just needs the PCB altered to suit.
I'm not going to fight Minerva JesusXorA wrote:*buys Marcel an Indiana Jones hat and whip*
That picture BTW triggers my "dodgy solder joint" alert.mk79 wrote:separate the outgoing pins from the Eprom pins like Chr$ did here https://www.ebay.de/itm/203613323341...
