Well, I originally drew it, but then TF took Minerva over so technically I guess it's Tony's shout these days. Is he still about?

Still going strong, yes. He even resuscitated his mailbox QL recently for me to look for the Hermes source codes, but alas no luck. They seem to be confined to Lau's vault.

There is a way to not have the Eprom legs bent out, just needs the PCB altered to suit.

Really? Pretty sure we "wouldn't do it just just for fun"... (points for getting the quote there)

Only if you separate the outgoing pins from the Eprom pins like Chr$ did here https://www.ebay.de/itm/203613323341... and that only works if you have enough space, for QL-SD for example it wasn't an option.

you can use those right angle pin headers on the underside, and surface solder the socket on the top of the board or displace it
