Re: Issue 6 board updates
From the pictures - 9 pin D's for CTL and SER ports, a single 9v DC in standard power plug, DC-DC converters for 5V and the +/- 12-15V for the serial driver chips, and a composite output on RCA phono as an option rather than UHF regulator. Also seems to be a new LED position off to the back of the board near the expansion bus...
Looks like the network port sockets have been redesigned to take the more readily available PCB mount socket format.
One quick question - are the CTL ports wired to take Kempston style joysticks ?

Re: Issue 6 board updates
I spent too long looking at Car ECU's for friends to identify various components on the boards and do repairs / mods... Eproms are the easier part to identify, but you get a knack for looking at a board and seeing component footprints, connectors, jumper positions - that sort of thing... Useful for finding the serial port pins on old routers

Thank you.Andrew wrote:That looks fantastic !
And on the left I spot a Trump card with SD card - and a micro SD card ?
Will you be offering a GC/SGC with SD card also ?
Yes, this is a Trump card + SD, I will discuss this card next thread.
About SGC + SD - I’m not sure what will be done in the near future.
I still have my QL items still available, anyone interested, please contact me at tetroid@inbox.ru

Also very nice that you now support SDHC cards. Are you using QL-SD style "address-coded-reads" for writing, or direct writes (now possible since your card sits at the extension slot)?

Hi... I see in sell my retro you sell red one... do you have another colour?tetroid wrote:I made several Issue 6 PCB clones.
For historical preservation.
I think not really to make the assembly this board, because of very rare original parts, such as the special serial, power, net connectors.
I am from Spain. Shipping ? Do you have a webpage?
Thanks
