I assume yes, as I just got it today!guibrush wrote: Sat Nov 02, 2024 11:51 am I have for example a Logitheck RS250 that is mentioned as PS/2 compatible:
Is your QIMSI Gold from the second batch?
ok, this could explain why this mouse, described as working, isn't with my board. I muss say that this is why puzzled me.In that case I might have caused the problem by removing the external pullup resistor for the PS/2 dara line, which was present in the first batch.
It could be that the FPGA-internal pullup is too weak for the RS250.
Removing it was needed to make the hardware capable to support actual USB mice, i.e. to allow future FPGA update for USB.
I have an FPGA version with USB support already, but did not want to create a mess, as there is no USB driver for keyboard.
Yes, this is clear. Can good be that all other mices I have are only USB compatibles.Pure USB mice can not work with the current FPGA! Only PS/2 and combo mice.
no, I don't want to use an external keyboard at all, so for me it would be perfect!Do you need PS/2 keyboard? If not, we could think about an FPGA update with actual USB supp
but is a USB blaser required to flash the PFGA?
