Microdrive Exchange was operated by a few companies, including TIL (Transform?) and later Sector Software, although Microdrive Exchange had gone by the time the magazine went to Arcwind, IIRC. I did ask David Batty (Sector Software) if he had copies left over but never got a reply.
I think I have found him on Linkedin and currently inquiring as to current software status.

Star Trek game now completed and compiled, available for download. Some ingame graphics was restored, some pictures taken from Star Trek Animated series, converted by GIMP and QL unGIF.

The game can be downloaded from http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/games/index.html as two zipped files (one for MDV1, the other for MDV2) called trek1.zip and trek2.zip, or direct download from http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/games/trek1.zip and http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/games/trek2.zip

It should run OK on a 128K RAM QL, and should be runnable from floppy disk using a FLP_USE "MDV" command.
