Hi,
QPC2 or any other system running SMSQ/E to use 8 colour mode, use the command:
COLOUR_QL
DISP_SIZE 256,256
Would give a MODE 8 display.
Q68 has DISP_MODE 0 to give a Mode 8 screen size.
