And the menuconfig program is also in the win8_ container. LRUN win8_boot starts it.

Hi

The QIMSI Gold uses other Language commands, please read the QIMSI Gold Manual, Chapter 3, Page 13, Keyboard Section

For people who do not read manuals:
QIMSI Gold Manual: Page 12 wrote: Keyboard

Currently, only PS/2 keyboard drivers for SMSQ/E and Minerva are available for the QL. (Super)GoldCard
SMSQ/E versions 3.40 and later have inbuilt driver support. After booting your QL you load and start
SMSQ/E, e.g. by LRESPR WIN1_SMSQE.

Once (Super)GoldCard SMSQ/E is booted, you can activate the PS/2 keyboard by using the command
“KBD_PS2”. You can change the keyboard language by “KBD_TABLE_PS2 x”, where x is your country
code (e.g. UK = 44, Germany = 49). When the PS2 keuboard is active, the QL keyboard no longer works,
and vice-versa. You can switch back to the QL keyboard by “KBD_QL”. Only the Minerva ROM supports
auto start, so this is required to fully omit the QL keyboard. Also Gold Card or Super Gold Card is manda -
tory for SMSQ/E.

For the QL's Minerva operating system, a driver is provided at github.com/janbredenbeek/QIMSI-KBD,
whhere you can also find more information about using QIMSI as keyboard interface. The Minerva driver
also supports the KBD_PS2, KBD_QL and KBD_TABLE_PS2 commands.

On QIMSI Gold, if you are using the PS/2 keyboard by the operating system on the MiniQ68, it can work
alongside the QL matrix keyboard.

Regards,

Derek

Does this housing accommodate the QIMSI Gold with RTC and super cap as well?

I don't think so - It's already very tight with the normal one - But nice and tidy.

But I'm sure If we ask nicely, Detlev will tinker until it fits :)

Then it's not good for me either. I have the QIMSI Gold with RTC.

Detlef just told me he'll have more time to look a case for the RTC variant in autumn. ;)

The case in the picture has actually been produced with a "Würschtlesleger" (i.e., an FDM-Printer). But on highest quality with 0.1mm layer height.
