Any chance that you publish your presentation here?

The presentation was for the show

I have sent copies of the slides to Davide so he can do a write up and include parts of it. I have already made changes to it in response to how it went on Sunday.
I will make a shortened, cleaned up version for here, but there are some things I need to do first.
1. I need to finish preserving 460 microdrive carts and mail them out to the preservation project.
2. I need to make some slight changes to the SuperRAM and get the prototype boards ordered, and work with my partner on testing the logic and the new ROM images.
3. I have a couple of orders I need to ship that require some assembly.

I just got a tracking number on my prototype SuperRAM boards, so they should be with me in a few days.
Getting close now!

With the re-evaluating and the over-spending on side-projects, I now have 14 packages I need to mail. They will be mailed out on Monday and Tuesday, now I have a postage budget again. Some went out on Friday.
If you are expecting a package and do not have a tracking number by Wednesday morning, please let me know!
I have slimmed down the items in the store, plus sorted out the slow payout problems with my merchant account. *phew*

If anyone has sent me an email to dave at sinclairql dt com since June 13th, I have not received it. The problem hasn't been resolved yet. I'll post here as soon as google sorts it out.

Hmmmm.
I am going to have to change PCB design tool. The tool I have used works ok, but it has a vendor lock-in to the PCB manufacturing house. Sadly but tolerably, they nickel and dime you to deal so everything costs 2x what they estimate in-program. However, my first order from them has come in with numerous faults that don't match the files - wrong size holes, four missing tracks that are right there in the file, etc.
The only solution is to port the layouts into another program that has no vendor lock-in.

I am temporarily all out of stock of microdrive felt pads. I will be making a ten times larger batch on Friday which should last for several years.

Awesomeness. 12,500 more felt pads laser cut yesterday. I'm preparing the back-orders now to ship on Monday.
