The GoldCard never had a parallel port. It's the SGC that has it.

I have an original super gold card in my Aurora, I've never used PAR, so not a problem for me!

The new super gold card clones from Tetroid don't have parallel port, his sales listings show the differences;


1. Power Module has a switch-mode power supply that imposes a negligible power drain on your system and produces little heat.
2. Battery backed clock has small standard battery (CR1225), which easy to find and replace. The battery should keep the time for about 1 years maximum.
3. One floppy disk drive connector.
4. Centronics parallel printer port removed.

I think it was a mistake but I grabbed it nonetheless since it was only $1.89. It says untested/as-is but the power adapter and SCART plug is worth more than $1.89. I'm betting they refund my money and apologize for the wrong listing...stay tuned.

Oh great I was hoping this would work. I was about to buy one on Amazon for $21 and then found this listing. I figured for $1.89 I'd take a chance. I'm still thinking they meant $18.90 and for that I'll go Amazon and won't gripe to the eBayer (who has 100% feedback). Not going to hold someone to an innocent typo...but, maybe they'll send it to me for that?!?

Don't hold your hopes too high because this is exactly one of the devices that work fine with my HDMI monitors but not at all with Marcel's. But nothing wrong at that price

"Untested" is also considered the eBay euphemism of "broken beyond repair"....

I know that "Untested" likely means broken and their isn't much to the board other than the MCU but for that little cash I figured why not. I pay more in tolls going to and from school :-/
