For PC-systems older than 2022/23 without Office : Stay on Win10 !
Get Windows Enterprise/IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 and you are good for the next 7 years

Linux... one day maybe.
I'm actually starting to prefer Windows 11 to Windows 10 so far. Getting used to it quicker than I expected.
