FYI, KBD_TABLE is currently broken on GoldCard and will be fixed in the upcoming SMSQ/E.

On the real thing with SGC & QL-SD LANG_USE did, KBD_TABLE didn´t work - I´ve used menuconfig finally to change the default layout in the binary.Derek_Stewart wrote:Hi,
The defaults can be overridden by entering the KBD_TABLE and LAN_USE command in the boot file:
10 LANG_USE "D"
20 KBD_TABLE "D"
In the Q68, I have the theses commands in the first lines of lines of the boot file, as 'GB', as I can only speak English...
If QPC2 is being used, the keyboard type has to chnaged to SMSQE rather than Windows ( also works in Wine )
That's good then as KBD_TABLE is imho the easier and documented way.mk79 wrote:FYI, KBD_TABLE is currently broken on GoldCard and will be fixed in the upcoming SMSQ/E.

I have attached the files to configure the SMSQe keyboard and message tables in Spanish (es).mk79 wrote:When somebody provides them, sure.
Thanks. It was a bit of work to translate this into assembler, but the result might be contained in 3.36. 3.37 at the latest.afx wrote:I have attached the files to configure the SMSQe keyboard and message tables in Spanish (es).mk79 wrote:When somebody provides them, sure.
Same bug as above, will be fixed in 3.36.In my BBQL, eskbdql.rext it should work but it doesn't.
I could only provide a beta for QPC/GoldCard, for Q68 you'd need to contact Wolfgang.I have few skills in system programming ..., but I can be a "betatester" if you need it ...
.
Marcel, thank you very much for the information and for supporting SMSQE.mk79 wrote:Same bug as above, will be fixed in 3.36.
