I've had a Murata 150115 in place of the main QL's 7805 for years now and it's been absolutely fine. Even my microdrives are spot-on. In fact it's the QL I dump cartridges from, so mdv performance is important. It is a Samsung QL, so has the extra shielding - not sure if that reduces potential switching noise.
