Using the cooked keycodes means another translation to do in the head, but it is not a show stopper!

I've submitted a pull request that should support the keypad for multiple types of keyboard
I've done some testing with US, GB, ES and DE under Linux. This indicates that the issue with DE is addressed. I've also addressed issues that existed in ES.

An attempt has also been made for MacOS DE and DE_ch, but these are untested.

Markus,

To double check:

Do the keypad keys / , *, - and + work correctly for DE_ch in the currently released version 1.1.1?

or

Do the keypad keys / , *, - and + work correctly for DE_ch after the pull request I submitted last night?

What is the version of the QL ROM that you use?

Thanks

It would be helpful, if we know, what OS is running. Windows, Linux or Mac. Theoretically, it should have the same incorrect assignment for the keypad buttons. Under Windows, mind you.

BTW: Any chance to get the scroll wheel running some day under Windows?

There is a chance, but what does it do on QDOS? (none of my QLs have a mouse with a scroll wheel).

Well, the scroll wheel doesn't really have anything to do with QDOS or SMSQ/E, but I find it very useful in QPC. You quickly get used to it when scrolling.

It emulates ALT/up-down, three lines per raster.

Ah, so does that mean you are using a Swiss German keyboard, but with a GB Minerva ROM? I had assumed that you would be using a German ROM.

That would mean that the original GB/US conversion I put in 1.1.1 worked for you, but now the conversion I've put in assuming a DE ROM does not. Let me know if I've understood correctly. If so I'll create a PR to revert the keypad behaviour for DE_ch to match GB/US.
