Gentlemen,

there is almost no limitation in the available quantity. Means, the current batch, which is on my hands, is enough to cover the fellows in the waiting list and also have some spares. In case someone drops in late. No need to wait for a new production batch.

I walk through the list in small groups, sooner or later you will be on top of the list. And, yes, the list is long!
Keep in mind: This is a non profit project, which I do in my spare time beside day-time job, family and other duties.

@Dilwyn: We may use the time to update the QIMSI section on your QL-Page with the QIMSI Gold software, ready to go container files and updated manual. What do you think about this?

Thanks for the update Stephan! Of course I meant ready to be shipped "batch" ;) We've waited 30+ years for a wonder device like this, what's a few more weeks/months? Thanks again for your effort and Peter for his creation! :D

It would be nice if those complaints could be handled by PM instead of this public thread.
In the past, "I have received no email" issues always turned out to have a comprehensible reason.
I know Stephan as a very reliable person. Please contact him directly, not the public forum. Thanks.

Dear Community. I have a problem.

I have a UK keyboard QL, but the qimsi gold card is always mapping the German keyboard.
I try to change the BIOS file and swap them but always German.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

did you configure SMSQ/E accordingly?

Try "lrun win8_boot" and search for the K/B config option. Or try command "kbd_table 44"

SMSQ/E has all the supported languages built into one single universal binary - Swapping it thus doesn't make much sense. You need to configure (using menuconfig_exe) your desired language into said binary.

Hi

The SMSQ/E file is configurable, with Menuconfig where the language and keyboard map can be changed.

Or if you do not want do this, change the keyboard map and language with these commands in your boot file:

LANG_USE GB
KBD_TABLE_PS2 GB

There are options for other languages: GB, D, F, USA Which relate to the country codes.

And KBD_QL to revert back to QL keyboard.

This is only for SMSQ/E, if Minerva is used, the PS2 Keyboard driver is required to be loaded, as detailed in the QIMSI Gold Manual.

Please read Dilwyn's SMSQ/E Guide at:
