Hi Giorgio,

I think you mean QPTR Toolkit.

The QPTR manual is available on Dilwyn's web site.

This was sold by Jochen Merz, which has not been updated in a long time.

Maybe it should be freely available to promote the programming of QPTR.

Another solution would be to use TPTR (Turbo Pointer) written by George Gwilt, which is Public Domain and available for download, on Dilwyn's web site and George's Web site. He does still maintain TPTR, where as QPTR is not.

Derek

I don't believe TPTR is Pubic Domain. I've looked at the docs and the sources and I don't see where George has released his rights to the program. It is freeware / open source (meaning it is free to distribute and use) which is what you might have meant.

To my knowledge, the QPTR toolkit used to be and still is commercial software.

(It could well be just because nobody has asked yet to release it into the wild....)

The manual, that used to be a significant (maybe the most important...) part of the QPTR deliverables is, however, freely available from Marcel Kilgus' web site.

There are, however, a lot of alternatives for basically every language the QL supports, like TPTR or EasyC.
