Disk interface
Trying to get my old QL set-up rebuilt.
The BBQL will be going off for total refurb soon, and I've got a 2x3.5" disk drive unit to plug into it.
It has 512L internal RAM so a simple Disk interface w/out extra memory is what I'm looking for.
I keep an eye on eBay but not much turns up that's suitable.

I'm open to whatever is available that worksvanpeebles wrote:I'll check mine, have you a certain type in mind?

A manual would be useful.

Re: Disk interface
Ok, I have the following with photos attached. I'm not sure if the PCML one has ram chips under the cover but there are empty sockets. The other is a Cumana and a Kempston. All a bit rare and a leftfield selection

Re: Disk interface
Sorry for the delay, in the end I had to order a new QL scart cable. Couldn't find my gbs8220 anywhere
Well two cards work as shown, and the poor little kempston seemed dead.

Re: Disk interface
Looks like it is something wrong with the scart cable - red is shown as yellowvanpeebles wrote:Sorry for the delay, in the end I had to order a new QL scart cable.
Maybe there is a short between R and B
