By the way, if you have any old microdrive cartridges, don't spin them up until you have refelted them. CHR$ on here can help with felt.

The old felt turns to dust and gets ingested into the cartridge and it may never work again.

I didn't know the ICL OPD used a different format. I actually have a few cartridges, I could re-felt them and check whether they are still readable.

You used superglue? But the felt pads are self adhesive and have a little yellow piece of paper on the sticky side :S. I imagine superglue would probably soak through and make the whole pad hard?

I couldn't imagine that has that tape included or it were strong enough ...

How about formatting, are you able to format one that has been refelted?

Not yet, I didn't want to loose whatever is inside the cardtrige cause I have not other software to try. Trying to keep any original software ...
