I´m still trying to find out how the 0K version of this interface can be successfully equipped with RAM. Do I need a new ROM, PAL chip or both? If so, where to get them? Or does it need a wire link/jumper?

I can´t seem to find version 1.18, which got mentioned earlier.

I also got hold of a PCML Disk Interface. It´s the 0K version with ROM 1.14. The board has sockets for eight RAM chips. After installing suitable chips, no additional RAM gets detected or can be accessed. Do I need a new PAL chip and if so, where to get one (or the file)?

I´m looking for any kind of information about the M.C.S Memodisk interface. There´s not much on the internet beside from the article on the QL Wiki and ROMs on Dilwyns pages, but no manual etc.

Any help is very much appreciated.

My intention never was to criticize anyone. I´d need to criticize myself for not having sufficient background knowledge. For sure, I went through the manual, but still I was struggling.

I would guess that a good amount of the new Q68 users has only basic QDOS knowledge (that includes me) and therefore they struggle a bit with the complexity of this superb machine. A simply how-to in the manual, explaning the steps on how to create a new SD card with content would be a great help.
