Re: Found: QL SuperBASIC The Definitive Handbook

I'm pretty sure Jan Jones would be a tad miffed at the fact her copyrighted book is available for download without her permission. It's still available to buy on Amazon (UK at least) for a good, low, price on Kindle format. Kindle can be converted to other formats using the Calibre application ...

Practice on scrap stuff first, till you get the hang. I used to make cubes out of short lengths of copper wire for practice.

Soldering is easy! I've been doing it since I was a kid, I had an old Antex 15W iron which lasted 30+ years and then the elephant died. I replaced it with a brand new Antex 15W iron so lets hope i get another 30 years....hang on, I'll be 95! :o

Re: Small problem with QBase

Sorry, I'm a plank!

I neglected to position to the next record in the database before fetching and printing the disc name. However, I have now fixed that problem, and guess what, the results are exactly the same!

I've uploaded the latest zip file.

Re: Small problem with QBase

If anyone wants to look over this stuff.....

The attached DBAS_BUGS.zip file, created on a QL, holds 4 test assembly programs with source. These are:

Select_CD01: Should exclude all "CD 01" records from the database. There are 5 of those, so there should be a record count of 779. Instead there is ...

Edited CLS as requested.
Merged a commit that I was nearest of from 2023 for the QPC commands.

Latest version is currently building....give it half an hour or so. Assuming it builds of course! Edit the build is complete.

Re: Small problem with QBase

Thanks Derek, and Dilwyn for your responses.

Yes please Derek, If you wouldn't mind creating a disassembly just of data_bin for my needs, that would be great.

Thanks again.

Cheers,
Norm.
