Sorry about the delay in replying.

I did send you a private message via this forum but may be the forum is not working the way I thought.

The flashing green was indeed caused by intermittent contact with some pins, caused by the heat sink being pressed by the back of the keyboard ...

I have been trying to contact Leon, the designer, about the QL 8301 CPLD Compact unit but he hasn't responded. Looking at when he was last logged in, it appears that it was last year so some time ago.

Would someone knowledgable be able to advise please?
