I have one of these beauties that came in a bundle purchase, plugged it in and got nothing on screen. So I opened it up cleaned the board etc, re-socketed the chips, gave the drive a once over and hurray it has output on the screen.
Error: faulty vdu ram

Does anyone have any experience with these ...

Can anyone point me in the direction of good felt to fix my microdrive carts, I have tried various types of felt (mostly from sets of velcro) but no success with the 20+ carts I have to refelt.

If anyone has a brand they get good results with then please share an ebay or amazon link ...

Just your bog standard retro collector, I mostly collect video games etc but I do have an ever growing collection of vintage computers also. Just here for some much needed guidance on QL repairs
