Do you have height enough to close the QL case using these pins and sockets for every IC? The space is very limited.
I also built the original few months ago, you can't close QL case, maybe if ditch the sockets (not sure). I have created my self a smd version mainly because of that.

Re: Component Advice Please?
Built first test unit this morning, to try and take my mind off things
It works as a Minerva ROM ok and the RTC clock works as it should (other than running slow, which I assume will be fixed by trimming it?)
Don't know when I'll have time to explore the other functions more and the I2c ...

Re: QIMSI Gold+ trump or gold card
I don't know about Gold Card, but I think you may use the Trump Card and the QIMSI Gold if your operating system is Minerva. Read carefully here:

Re: Announcing the new "Gold Card" - QIMSI Gold
Hi Javi,
[*] My UK QL keyboard seems to work well, but some keys are changed in their place.
You need the UK version of QL_ROM.SYS and SMSQ/E configured to UK.
[*] I've added diferent WIN a QUB containers after the QLWA.WIN, but I only can access to win1_ and win8_.
In order to use Qubide ...

Re: Announcing the new "Gold Card" - QIMSI Gold
Hi all.
When I knew the QIMISI Gold was launched, I thought it was a great oportunity to improve my QL and to dive into the SMSQ/E system. I got one to get working, but soon I realized I wasn't preprared yet because I'm a relatively new QL user. Sice then, I've been learnig more and more about the ...

Re: Problem after the power went out
I started from a old backup, but I've lost all the work I did since the last 4 weeks
I'll have to make backups from time to time.
