It does fit inside if you make everything low profile.

I have decided to sell my small QL collection of as I am getting on a bit and never use certain items, the QL being one. Over the last couple of years I have upgraded it with various bits and bobs. Here is a list of mods and items.

That stuff is what I buy too and I've re-felted 200+ by now with no problems and have saved, loaded, formatted etc etc. Some fail, but that's probably due to other cartridge duffness!

I bought some of these and with some trimming with a craft knife they look promising and I have had success with them saving a couple of carts from the bin.

Thanks for the help guys, I finally got it sorted. I had the jumper configured incorrectly. It now shows TK232 along with my Kempston disk drive and TK2_EXT works and the pokes returned the correct values.

For the time being I am going to have to stick to using Windows for making my EEPROM images. I lack the ability/knowledge to transfer software from a PC to a disk image for use on my Gotek.
I used a Minerva198.rom which filled out the end of the image to $BFFF and then added a image called TKv232 ...
