Re: Today I Received...

Today I recieved my ultra fast fibre thingie.

Some faffing around as the OpenReach guys hit a snag or two, but got them sorted.

My PlusNet Hub2 hasn't arrived yet but that's not a problem as my ASUS RT-AC-68U works fine and you caneven plug a VoiP phone into it.

Re: Fractal report zine

I think I must have ceased subscribing when CGH Services stopped operations.

Fractals on home computers were a fad that seems to have almost disappeared.

(Fractals themselves still ...

Would the PSION XChange work on the QL core ?

Re: QL Core on Spectrum Next KS3

Yup.

I suspect most Speccy Next users will be looking for easy to load games.

Really easy, like stick an SD card in and a menu appears and you select one and it happens.

(experienced Next users are probably familiar with downloadin and directories on the Next but not so regarding the QL.)

Fond memories of doing the AP adventures on the QL.

be made available to run on the Next QL core ?

(I have yet to open ...

Re: What sort of Games

A new game for the QL ?
Sounds like fun .

Just to be a pain what what specification of QL are you thinking of for this game 128K BBQL or something a bit more powerful ?
I.E. - screen res ? colours ? monitor / TV ? memory ? input device ? ROM ? Minerva ?

Developing a new game to run on the QL core ...

Re: Windoze 11

Got a new Win11 PC a few days ago.
My old Win10 PCX died without warning and showed no sign of ever working again.
I was going to retire it this year as I was informed it lacked a little doobrie that was no longer made for the motherboard.
Apart from an issue of me not realising there was a hidden ...
