Today I recieved my ultra fast fibre thingie.
Some faffing around as the OpenReach guys hit a snag or two, but got them sorted.
My PlusNet Hub2 hasn't arrived yet but that's not a problem as my ASUS RT-AC-68U works fine and you caneven plug a VoiP phone into it.
(Mind you they left my copper ...

Seems there were another 20 issues after the ones I had.
I think I must have ceased subscribing when CGH Services stopped operations.
Fractals on home computers were a fad that seems to have almost disappeared.

Yup.
I suspect most Speccy Next users will be looking for easy to load games.
Really easy, like stick an SD card in and a menu appears and you select one and it happens.
(experienced Next users are probably familiar with downloadin and directories on the Next but not so regarding the QL.)

Fond memories of doing the AP adventures on the QL.
As the the kickstarter 3 Spectrum Next has a QL core as standard, but not much software, would it be possible for the Public Domain software
be made available to run on the Next QL core ?

Got a new Win11 PC a few days ago.
My old Win10 PCX died without warning and showed no sign of ever working again.
I was going to retire it this year as I was informed it lacked a little doobrie that was no longer made for the motherboard.
