Got a new Win11 PC a few days ago.
My old Win10 PCX died without warning and showed no sign of ever working again.
I was going to retire it this year as I was informed it lacked a little doobrie that was no longer made for the motherboard.
Apart from an issue of me not realising there was a hidden ...

Re: Advanced QL User Guide
Yes copyright exists until 70 years after death of author.
Author is still alive
Publisher is still in business
So any unauthorised re-publication in any form would leave you open to litigation.

Re: NEXT Annual 2025
Did you get 2 copies too? I seem to have 2, not sure if I accidentally bought two or Fusion books got mixed up their end.
Anyway, it's a great annual, same format as the Crash annuals. Top quality.
Yes I got two.
Not sure what happened - thought it was me ordering twice by mistake.
(happened a ...

Re: Software on 5.25" Diskette
When I was running CGH Services, I had a twin 5.25" drive and a twin 3.5" drive set-up so I could supply software on either format.
So it's possible I supplied some on 5.25" floppies, but mostly it was 3.5".
The 5.25" floppies were 720K IIRC.
(And mdvs as well ofc.)

Re: Quill from Gilsoft
I notice there is a copy of The Quill for sale on eBay.
No idea what version it is though.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305613511362
I did some bidding on it but bailed out before reaching the previous bidder's max.
(Hope it wasn't someone here.)

Re: QL Cartridges lot on Ebay
Re the O/P
that's a lot of familiar stuff there.
For the record : I don't have any contacts for people who wrote CGH Services s/ware unless they are on here or I know them on FB.
The copyright for titles were returned to the authors when I ceased trading. What they did with the copyright titles was ...

Re: Greetings from Wales
Hi
Sorry.
Not in touch with anyone from those days, unless they're on here or Facebook.
Agree it would be cool to put those adventures back in circulation.
